Let’s Get Vectorized
Welcome to Vectorized, where I’ll be posting about vector art in general, techniques, resources and artists (whether professional or amateur, well-known or still struggling for recognition). I got introduced to vector art myself during my studies to become a graphic-designer, a few years ago, and since then, I’ve embraced this style, and never quite looked back.
Many people, artists and non-artists, still don’t exactly know what vector art entails. It’s not about the advertising industry only. It’s not about an “easy craft” where one “just has to trace over an existing picture”. There’s much more to vector art than that, and if by creating this blog, I can help spread the word about what it is and what it isn’t, then I’ll have reached one of my goals.

I came across your site while googling, I dont know if you still update, but I was glad somebody else appreciates vectorized art as I do. I too, took a graphic design course a few years back and my favourite was vector illustration. I have a website which I just began last month and wish to launch in december 2006. Maybe at that time if you are up and running, you can consider to post my site link here as u did for other people. I really enjoyed looking at their art, wow, talented people. Thats awesome.
Anyway keep it up.
