Hop Art and Carolyn Ringuette
Hop Art specializes in web-related services, among which the creation of websites, Flash animations and illustrations. Of course, the interesting bit I found on their website—not that web-design isn’t interesting, but the point of this blog is after all to focus on vector-based art first—is the pictures samples, which are the work of Hop Art’s creator, the Montréal artist Carolyn Ringuette. In a trendy, almost hip-hop like ambience, here’s a batch of nice and colorful vector illustrations (Carolyn works in Illustrator, Freehand and Photoshop). There’s much more to her than this, since she’s also talented at traditional illustration, such as watercolors, but for the moment, let’s simply appreciate her vector works on the Hop Art website.
