A portfolio rich in women figures is what I’ve found on Paul Bush’s website, and let’s not be fooled, because there’s a “nudity” warning on some of them doesn’t mean that said images aren’t worth a look, or are done in bad taste. Paul Bush is indeed another of these illustrators who display a good [...]

Through his vector works, web-designer and graphic-designer Roger Mendonca shows exactly what it is to work in contrasts, and how a reduced amount of colors can produce strong effects just as much as a myriad of gradients. War themes, mechas and devils abund in the Illustrations gallery, holding dynamic examples of Mendonca’s talent with vectors. [...]

As his nickname of “CrisVector” easily gives it away, Brasilian artist Cristiano Siqueira, even though he’s started with more traditional ways of performing digital paintings (and still uses them), is an adept of vector techniques, and his drawings sure show the mastery he’s gained in this specific aspect of his craft. He has a website [...]

An interesting portfolio here, the one of Bertrand Berlureau, illustrator and graphic-designer working as an independent since 2004. In a sometimes fashion-, sometimes cartoons-inspired style, Bebdsigner—who also works in the fields of web-design and logos—deliver dynamic and colorful illustrations of people and animals, among others. Also don’t hesitate to check his Flash animations.

There sometimes is a controversy, among vector atists, about whether what could be called “photo-realism” is really art, or needs to be considered as tracing/copying only. Regardless of what one may think of this, it’s a fact that Miyamoto Yukio, in the works he presents on his web page, displays a thorough technique, especially when [...]

With a name that intriguing, there was no doubt I’d sooner or later stumble upon the website of this artist. Drunken Tengu is the home of Susan H. Morgan, who has realized, over the past years, a certain amount of works for educational assessment (she seems to like bird-types a lot, too). Her art isn’t [...]

Here’s an artist I’ve known through a few art-related websites, and whose style I find quite pleasant and interesting. Pamela, who currently resides in South Florida, is a freelance webmaster and graphic-designer who works a lot with vector graphics, and has displayed a notable talent in her creations. Feel free to visit her website, Pamzylove.com, [...]

This comes a little late, and to be honest, I didn’t think I’d still have the time to draw my very own “best wishes” card for this year’s holidays season. However, things folded up better than expected in the end, and I was able to take a good hour out of my timetable to design [...]

Hop Art specializes in web-related services, among which the creation of websites, Flash animations and illustrations. Of course, the interesting bit I found on their website—not that web-design isn’t interesting, but the point of this blog is after all to focus on vector-based art first—is the pictures samples, which are the work of Hop Art’s [...]

Behind this cryptic name hides the online portfolio of an artist from Parma, Italy, who goes under the nickname of ‘Moop’ (Francesca being her little name). Although I haven’t found much about her in terms of a biography, what I can say is that her illustrations (all vector-based and done in Flash) are dynamic and [...]
